Revival?

When I think about a spiritual revival, my mind goes back to the days when it meant a traveling Evangelist came to town, set up a large tent, covered the ground in sawdust, and posted flyers on telephone poles. For the most part, that has become an event relegated to a bygone era, uncommon in this day and time.
Revivals moved into church buildings and for a couple of weeks, people received a fresh gospel message and an opportunity to renew their faith and their excitement for God. Eventually two weeks became one until now most church “Revivals” run from Sunday through Wednesday. In some Churches, revivals have become a short burst of life in an otherwise predictable series of routine services.
Young people are hungry for spiritual awakening, the reality of the gospel, but when they don’t find it they lose interest all together. Some say revivals have died due to a lack of interest. I hope that is not true, for revival is what we need more than anything. We need to recapture our first love, turn back to the God of power and might, the God of love who changes lives and heals broken hearts.
But one question remains. Are we revivable? Are we? If so, then how does it happen? What should we do? First, we must understand that revival begins with us, as individuals. The greatest revivals began with one concerned person who went to their knees and prayed for God to bring revival as a sovereign act.
We have God’s promise in the Bible that says, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me” Psalms 138:7
From this and other scriptures we know that the heart of God is to draw us close to Him and to have pure Holy fellowship together. No matter what we have done, or how far we have strayed from Him, His loving arms are outstretched to His children. When our relationship is right, there is so much peace that floods our soul that we must ask ourselves, why? Why do we stray and allow ourselves to become cold and distant from God?
A cold indifferent world of sin will drag us away if we let it, but is it ever worth it? No. A relationship with our Loving Father is priceless and should be our first priority. Yet we take Him for granted because He is always there.
It’s time we turn back to God, repent, and ask for revival, for our families, our Nation, and ourselves. Yet the question remains, are we revivable? The same question is asked in the Bible as the Psalmist wrote,
“Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You” Psalms 85:6
Yes we are revivable! God will breathe new life into us when we ask. It’s His will to forgive us, bless us, and welcome us back to our first love. He is so wonderful, and His grace is unfathomable. He will not only bring us back to where we were, but He will take us to new places in Him.
If we humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord He will lift us up.
“For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones”” Isaiah 57:15
Pray for revival. History shows that God has sent revival to countries in times of national crisis, war and economic stress. His word describes how He will look throughout the earth for those whose heart is toward Him. And to those loyal to Him, He will prove Himself strong on their behalf, and will actually fight their battles.
The Bible is replete with examples and proof that He wants to bless His people because He cares about each one. So since we are revivable, pray for revival as if it all depends on you. It very well may.

MOUNTAIN

Difficult to hike to the top
Always present for you to stop
A thousand meters is a mere height
To overcome, you need not fight
In the past, it was a refuge
And best place for man to remain huge
It became an obstacle for man to pass
All roads were constructed by its side
And not on top to break it's back
Heavily built for human sight
It takes wisdom and strength to reach its height
Mountains are visible and invisible
The visible mountain is hard to subdue
No one has drowned the visible by words of mouth
It blocks freedom of man to go on a straight path
But yet it is hiked by humans
Even Everest knows it's size
Yet humans measured it from top to bottom
With the flying objects, they broke the visible boredom
The invisible mountain dwells in man's heart
More enormous than what eyes can see
Ever growing rapidly to stop your path
It takes wisdom and strength to scale it's height
Nurtured words of life can bring it down
Hot thoughts fashioned with reasoning can help a bit
Since it exists in the heart of man
From whence issues of life erupts
Pay attention to details from your heart
Visible and invisible mountain exists in the realm of man
Invisible mountain are surmounted from another realm
The realm that controls activities from above
And your aim is to reach the top
You may climb up, jump up or control the top through the One (Almighty)
Nobody is a mountain nor obstacle
Overcome the mountain in your heart
And overcome in your life
Nobody has the power to stop you
IT IS ONLY YOU THAT CAN STOP YOU
Mountains exists, but you can cause them to Cease
Never remain comfortable with impossibility
I can..., I have..., and I will..., so you too can..., and anyone can..., if anyone has...
Break the mountain's mound.

What a man seeks.

WISH YOU SAID "NO"

Men like to chase by nature
We had sex so I conquered
And so I ask "what more"?
I've seen your tears and heard your pleas
I wish you said "no"

You were too emotional and not rational
I can't seem to trust you again, no never
You did it with me, you'd do it with another
I wish you said "no"

Don't call, don't cook, don't text, don't come. Don't reach my friends to get me guilty or get on media to call men "bad"
I watched you dupe your parents for me, inflate your fees and sneak out for a night. You said you did it for me ok, but you'll teach my children same
I wish you said "no"

You can't be their mother, your values are murdered.
I thought you knew that sex at best
is only just an appetite
You chose your path and made your choice to feed my flesh against God's word. Now you wait for me to marry you
I wish you said "no"

You are sassy and savvy
Sexy and slaying
Your meals unmatched, your laundry's the best. But still i'm deep in search my dear but definitely not for you
I wish you said "no"

I am searching for the lady who loves me enough to say "no" at the sight of sin
I search for the lady who is one with God and loves His word more than my words
I know the lady I want to marry, the one my kids will call "mother"

To all my sisters, cousins and nieces
To all the females in the house
Just learn to say "no"
Esteem God's word above their words.
True love always waits.

Copied.

Choice

Choice
Choice is what every man has
Choice of words, food, dance, song, lifestyle are just so few
When making choices
Your today is shaped by your yesterday's choice
Choice is powerful
Not always favorable
Full of uncertainty and clarity
Time and Chance controls choice
A man choose to make life better
Yet surrounded by many choices
There is always a choice
It may not be a good one all the way
But you still make a choice
CHOICE, author of confusion
CHOICE, Dictator of destinies
CHOICE , Determinant of war or peace
Hard to make and hard to leave
Powerful enough to lift all doubts
Power filled also to fill all doubts
An outburst of desires
Tester of the strength of man's will
An attribute every leader must possess
Being able to decide when challenges breaks the heart's door
Whether it's a good choice or a bad one
Man has to make one
Choice changes choices made before
Choice can create chaos, change and chance
Your choice is your cross you either bear, bend or break away from
Time keeps rolling without minding your choice in life
CHOICE, appearing to be the best with spikes underlying disguised
Life is full of choices we say
But it's full of frustrating elements
Life is full of choices we sing
Forgetting it's rhythm and lines
A good choice is not usually a right choice
And a right choice is not also always a good choice
When a choice is made, patterns are opened up to make it real
Your choice changes your life
Your life either bears or enjoys your choices made
Jesus loves me and I chose to abide in Him.
